Internationally cited example of communal land restoration – returning native forest to lands damaged by mining and timber industries

In Galicia we are working with a local NGO and the community to develop our landscape hotel within their land restoration area. When you stay with us, you will be contribute financially, and if you like, by getting your hands dirty, to a years long project to restore the area to a natural Galician coastal ecosystem.

The village has twice nearly burned in wild fires that are common in the invasive eucalyptus plantations that are used for pulp & paper manufacturing.
